I've stayed at a number of the Sofia hostels in the past few months and can unequivocally state that Canape Connection is my favorite of the bunch. It is not a huge party or clinical feeling hostel, it is more like a home away from home hostel. The staff are nice and helpful, the place is clean, the location is right in the center (a few blocks off Vitosha blvd.) and the vibe is chill. Plus, there's some pretty cool artwork in the hostel as well.
My stay at Canape Connection was the perfect choice! It was so refreshing to have the option of a trendy hostel with very comfortable accommodations and rather multicultural feel to it. Its stylish design was well balanced with the feeling of just being over at your friend's place. Located in downtown Sofia, it provided me with quick and easy access to the heart of the city. The room I was in was very cozy and quiet. The staff was rather helpful and attentive. I strongly recommend it!
Although Canapé Connection has amazingly many faces and distinctive features, I can describe the feelings that it brought to me with one word only – astonishment. Spending three days there, I was greatly astonished by the combination of style and elegancy, creativity and utility, romance and naughtiness, history and modernity that are successfully intermingled in that lovely place and in its atmosphere.
Located right in the center of the city, a few steps away from the bars, restaurants and shopping area, Canapé Connection puts one the proper verge of their Sofia adventure providing just everything, and even more, necessary for a wonderful stay or vacation: spacious and very clean rooms, in-room bathrooms, huge and comfy beds, fulfilling breakfast, friendly atmosphere, sense of safety and coziness, sense of home. Another thing I highly valued about Canapé Connection was the pleasant surrounding of other people - all rather interesting and valuable to meet. Moreover, the owners and stuff added further to my own and to the fascinating experience of their other clients, treating each one as an old friend and very welcomed guest.
To resume - I think everything about Connection is perfect; but how else would you imagine a 5 star hotel? …. Opsss! Excuse me, a little correction – Canapé Connection is a hostel….but an astonishing one at that!
After spending a week in Sofia I have to say that I am really impressed from this hostel and the people working there! The place is really nice, clean and right in to the center of Sofia. I almost didn't use any public transport during my stay. The people a really nice and always ready to help you. Thank you Canape Connection for the nice time in Sofia and next time I will come back with some friends! ¡Adios! Emilio
This hostel is amazing. The conditions were like in a very good hotel, I'm honest. The beds are comfortable so I staid 3 nights instead of just 1. I couldn't leave. I really recommend it to everyone who wants to get a good rest and to feel comfortable. Also, the hosts are very cool. They helped me with my next stops in the Balkans. And the last, but not least, the hosts make breakfast by themselves. Every morning is different from the previous one. It's really amaizing.
One word for this hostel - the best. I have never stayed in a better hostel before. It's very clean, quiet, wide beds, good food, helpful staff, artistic rooms.
Hello, my name is Christine and I stayed in Hostel Canape Connection. I am impressed by everything there especially by the beds which were huge. You have personal space, a lot of room to put on things, large dorms and common areas with a lot of space and drawings on the walls. Your travel experience becomes full when you visit places like this. I can said I'm in love with it and I recommend it to all my friends that are going in that direction. Thanks to the staff, they are great.
